With giant baobab trees in nice shady gardens, the lodge is well relaxed and comfortable in one of the best locations. The lodge is a sister to Kia Lodge (at Kilimanjaro Airport) and Moivaro lodge. Its also believed (rumoured) that the same company renovating up a new hotel in Zanzibar Stone town, which they acquired.
Visited by a few people, it makes this part (Zanzibar coast) feel good.

The water you get on the East cost will never be the picture pos card tropical turquoise, with no hotels neighbouring with no tourists is the only important trade off here despite of being no caster sugar soft and white sand beaches.

Fundu Lagoon Pemba Tanzania

Fundu Lagoon.
Away from Tanzania, Fundu is among the best 3 luxury beach locations. For those looking for luxury, there is variety to choose from, but Fundu remains the best competitor.
Be it in terms of location (along Mnemba island and plains), its also here in terms quality and style. As a result, it had to beat a private island.
The best location on Pemba Island is Fundu lagoon. The lodge cannot be under estimated when it comes to other safari lodges in places like Jongomero camp and sand rivers.
After being in Tanzania for a month walking, here especially is a place of London buzz at times.

The hotel is located in a place of no infrastructural development on the West coast of Pemba Island, on a small hill with some rooms up the side of the hill, while the other along the water front.

You can watch the sun as it sets over the sea (a few places in East Africa) since all rooms over look the sea water. The place looks nice and well-designed.

A photographed jetty in place sticks out a fair way into the sea in position of a Bacandi advert, half way out there is a dining area as well as a bar which is good while drinking and eating under the stars. Meals served here are good as you would expect from the services offered.

Compared to other beaches, the front hotel beach is not as good as others along the back. Its leafy with mangroves an not wide enough, But within a short distance, there is one made up by the Mesali Island. The lodges uses truly impressive speed boats. Mesali is a nature reserve where you can spend much of the day lying on pure white sand or spending much of your time snorkelling.

The beach has some good diving and excellent dives. The costs of staying at Fundu are nolonger included in the trips to Mesali since 2005. So you should be in position to pay an extra $20 each person per trip.

Fundu Lagoon rooms are all in well luxurious and stylish large safari tents.
The rooms are conveniently well placed with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning facilities and mini bars, dhow sailing is also offered at the hotel, moving around in the sunset in the evening. After a stressful day on the beach, you can go for a drink in hand.

Fumba Beach Hotel Zanzibar Tanzania

Fumba Beach Hotel.
Fumba is situated in one of the under developed areas around the coastline, in lovely shady gardens, this with large baobab trees. From South of Zanzibar Stone town, the hotel lodge is set on West coast peninsular ½ hours drive.

Moivaro lodge, Kampala lodge at Kilimanjaro Airport and Fumba beach lodge are sister lodges. Its believed that this company is also renovating a hotel in Zanzibar Stone town, they have just got.

This might be a hotel for some people who are looking for a little more “off the beaten track”, because its the less visited part of Zanzibar coast with no surrounding hotels or other visiting tourists.

The rooms are set apart from each other here at Fumba with a total of 26 rooms altogether. Facilities are air-conditioning and fans, tastefully furnished and endless luxury.

Own roof top terrace are on each suite (real plus point). Here meals (private) are served on request. The dining room has a capacity of 50 guests and becomes a great deal when others get retired, for a few to be served.

Also attractive are the fantasy bath set outside in the roots of big baobab trees of the baobab suites on the deck.
Plunge pools may be of great significance in Zanzibar’s tropical temperatures.
There are also conveniently located swimming pool (not all luxurious) over looking the ocean, with good natural relief and a wide terrace.

For quality they have gained, a well deserved reputation.

It has a private spot from where you can always comfortably relax since there is plenty of space to sit. For example, in beautiful indigenous trees under the shade; small sitting rooms and verandahs as well as.

Gibb’s is the best place to stay for your next morning, between Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater. While here, all you can do is walking below the Crater rim in the in the Forest reserve where you can see a variety of bird life species, some elephant and buffalo signs and then go milking the cattle in the farm.

Chada Katavi Accommodation Tanzania

Chada Katavi Accommodation.
An under stated stylish Camp.
The camp has had its substantial up grade recently after a strong deliberation by its owners who got concerned about losing the great standards of Chada.
As a result, Chada Camp is now well-designed comfortable and stylish camp.
The spacious campaign six tents are Khaki, Canvas Immaculate (With brass fitting and leather). With each placed in a large tree shade with views to Chada plains. (It sits in a grove of acacia and tamarinds).

Inside the tents, beds are made of wood and suede head-boards, would fail to look out a place in smartest. For you to put your clothes, there are hanging leather shelves and a writing desk.
There is a lot of space with the fact that instead of the door being on a short side, the whole long side (under the apex of the roof) opens in the middle of the day.

You can make the best of your breeze by reading, relaxing on your bed and if you choose to zip your tent, then it becomes easy especially at night as the tents have wrap-around mosquito. You can still have the view through the nets windows for 360 degrees. (No one can see in as you close them).

Bath rooms.
Behind each tent, there sits a private bathroom. The traditional set up-filled on request, a bucket shower, 20 litres of water, table and Chada plain loos are not flush lavatories, but are wooden seats over a hole.
This was meant to reduce the sound effect, but not a short cut. And for people most interested in having flush loo, this camp is not meant for you.

Dining.
It’s a central dining tent under the trees so everyone eats in a group, dishes are highly of good quality. Its worthy to visit the kitchens before you go since these are really small bush camps. You would really believe in the food being cooked due to the quality of equipments used in this safari.
It makes Katavi a more exciting place to explore since it lacks infrastructure in form of roads.

Game drives.
In open-sided land rovers, game drives are on shared basis, with canvas, sun shades and 150 per day can be used to organize private vehicle as a result at Sand rivers. The key aspect at Chada is flexibility. Morning and evening drives are made or head off all day with picnics.

Your guide and manager will look out for the best place for you to go depending on your choice. At the moment, few National Parks are like Katavi where walking is freely allowed since it has a few visitors. It also has safari walks from Chada in the dry season (June-October), the few rivers that connect the main flood plains become attracted to the large numbers of animals as well as being accompanied by a number of predators along the banks.

Over a number of days, flying supported vehicles are available for camping trips. This becomes more exciting as you cam walk from Chada Camp as in Selous for 1 or 2 hours  at a time.
To enjoy Katavi, its better to combine walking and driving by a land rover, accompanied by armed rangers. Here you can drive deep in the wilderness to find the game and feel spontaneous, which is of enormous value.

It is well worthy to take a fly camp (not more than $100pp), whilst staying at Chada.
It’s the lowest impact to experience the bush, but generally the most exciting.
With no drought, Katavi is one of the best places to experience the wilderness.
The light weight camps organized by Chada Camps offer a destination of all the best elements used in safari.

The camps offer excellent services, food, hot showers as well as experienced Guides, with the completion of the Wild Immersion Promise.

After dining at night, you sleep on bed rolls in the open on the ground in designed mosquito net tents. You can lie on your back and see the stars as well as hearing the lions a few hundred yards a way roaring.

The camps though basic, are utterly exhilarating and are comfortable.  For a single night, they can be fantastic, contrast to serious luxury or a seven-day Walking safari Mobile Camp.
