How to Be Romantic To Your Partner While on An African Safari
Its time for vacation, you have your travel dates set and booked for your favourite safari destination, all bags packed and the two of you staring at the flight tickets with excitiment.
This is the mood that most tourists to Africa get into. For most couples, romance is something that is evident while on a safari. Just thinking that taking your loved one for a wild safari is romantic is just false. There is so much more you can do to have a perfect romantic safari.
The most important aspect is to know the preferences of your partner. There is the passive safari where you spend more days at a particular destination, almost repeating the day itinerary and then the active safari where you keep moving from place to place with little or no rest until you end your safari. The passive safari is a better option because it allows the two fo you to talk about yourselves and not just the attractions. The active option keeps you busy and at the end of the day, you are tired to even think of having romantic moments!
Its always better to avoid a group safari. You need privacy to explore the destination, just the two of you. Think about the incovenience you can get from other group members who have different beliefs and customs, will your partner be really free with them? I once heard of a story where a couple joined a group safari and in the end, they broke up because of another group mate.
Where to stay is very important. Make it clear to the company planning your safari that you are interested in private or uncrowded hotels and lodges. Places full of people become such unwanted distraction.Meals and Dinner should be the order of the day. Plan for the fireplace with a bottle of wine and don’t sleep so late or else you will miss the next day’s activity.
Among the romantic activities suggested include nature walks, scenic viewing, African bush treks, gorilla tracking, primate watching and so much more. All most all safari activities are possible as long as you work around the guidelines.
Wish you a perfect safari.
