Lake Manyara Serena Lodge is rather un exciting, but it offers one of the most comfortable places in Manyara and the country’s best swimming pools.
There is easy access for game drives in Lake Manyara National Park as well as stunning views of Lake Manyara.

The lodge is within easy reach of Lake Manyara National Park and very close to Arusha. This fair quality hotel sits on the Rift Valley escarpment and over looks Lake Manyara’s Northern end.
This lodge is more dependable but not exciting like other Serena hotels, with the good services, comfortable rooms, excellent food and friendly staff.

Serena Lodge is not a smaller bush camp and doesn’t pretend to be so and it almost lucks the intimacy and atmosphere you would get in smaller camps. Like Manyara Tree Lodge, its not luxurious.
Plantation lodge and Gibb’s Farm are definitely the best is you prefer small camps.
However, there are few things outstanding about Lake Manyara Serena place; first and foremost the spectacular views of Lake Manyara.

The ground falls 1000ft away to the bottom of the rift valley, while on the right hand of the escarpment.
Second, is its swimming pool right of the Rift valley edge at Serena Lodge. If you have children, then this is the best place for you in the afternoon.
