When to go.
Manyara being right under the Rift Valley escarpment is quite often under a solid over cast layer of the early dry season in the morning by the middle of the day, the cloud breaks up, however, morning can be cool.
Manyara has three seasons; two seasons and one dry season. However, in recent years, there is a theory that shows that weather in Tanzania is a theory that shows that weather in Tanzania is unpredictable.

The dry seasons start from June to October while the short rains start from November and the long rains in March or April ad end in late May.
Temperatures range from 150C in July to 300C in January and February.
