Mahale Mountain Hiking Safari Tanzania

How to get there.
The only way to reach Muhale is by air since there are no roads.
The only way to reach was by means of a private charter, until recently when a Tanganyika Fly Company was introduced. It runs flights twice a week, from Arusha to Selous and Ruaha. Flights probably go via Katavi if you come from Dar-es-salaam, with Precision Air. They will pick you up from Kigoma and Tabora.

On your arrival, you will be met by a boat that will take you to Grey stock Camp from the lakeshore, where you land. The journey will take 1:40 minutes.
It takes 50-minutes flight from Kitavi to Muhale. This makes sense to visit both since you have come this far.
