Kisuni Camp Serengeti.
Kisuni Camp is a very good tented camp that lies in the Southern Serengeti, away from any other lodges.
This luxurious tented camp is situated in Serengeti National Park (Southwestern area). Close to the South is Maswa Game Reserve and to the East is NgorongoroCrater and highlands.
Kisuni is one of the most remote areas in Serengeti, with no other camps in the area. So especially in the dry season, you are given a private corner of the Serengeti. Migration moves in Kisuni Camp in between January and March and throughout the year, there are resident game in the area.
The lodge has 9 double tents, each with private stocked ensuite bathrooms scattered around the kopje, with wooden verandahs and supplied with electricity. Inside the tents, there are warm to welling bathrobes, comfortable beds and wine and juice selections of your arrival.
With friendly staff and managers, excellent services, and being a home to game like wildebeest migration in the early May, lions, leopard and elephants all around.
Climb up one of the kopses to have a chance to see the nearby landscape of the plain.
From Ngorongoro Craters and Highlands, the camp is 3-4 hour drive and from Arusha, its 1-20 minutes flight.
Permanent grass plains are well known in Southern Serengeti plains, but in dry season, the kopjes and with woodland at Kusini can be more rewarding than the plains.
The day drives can as well be more better when visiting Moru kopjes.
There is much to see by the early dry season; cheetah fighting in September and you may work a bit harder to find the animals in the nearby area.
