6 Day Tanzania Northern Circuit Safari
This six day Northern-Circuit-Safari is a standard Tanzania trip, Journeying you through Lake Manyara Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. It begins and finishes in Arusha located adjacent to Kilimanjaro International Airport. An exciting add-on to this safari is spending time on the lovely beaches of Zanzibar or relaxing on the coastline of the shore.
Day 1 – Arusha to Ngorongoro
The tour begins with lunch in the town of Arusha at 1230hrs. At 1400hrs, drive all through to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dine and slumber at the lodge in Ngorongoro.
Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater safari and onto Northern Serengeti
Today, descend 2000 ft below which is more than 600 to the crater floor where you will have a half day tour. Explore the verdant forest regions inhabited by elephants plus monkeys, the lake region to see the numerous flamingos as well as the vast open savannah inhabited by lions. Have lunch back at your lodge, prior to continuing to the Serengeti National Park and continue to the Lobo in the Northern regions of Serengeti. Dinner and slumber at the lodge, following a hectic day’s tour.
Day 3 – On safari in the Serengeti
Have game viewing in the morning through the continuous Serengeti plains to see the large herds of not only wildebeests, but also zebras as well as gazelles in addition to number of lions relaxing in the shade. Drive back to the lodge for a scrumptious lunch, prior to proceeding to Lake Manyara. Dine and slumber in the central region of Serengeti National Park
Day 4 – Safari to the Southern Serengeti
Enjoy a game drive in the early morning within the Serengeti National Park. Have lunch back at the lodge. Following lunch, head to Ndutu area situated along the border of Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, game viewing along the way. Dine and slumber at the Ndutu Safari Lodge in southern part of Serengeti.
Day 5 – Serengeti to Lake Manyara
Have a morning game-drive in the region of Ndutu Area. Have lunch at Ndutu camp / at the lodge. Following lunch drive to Olduvai Gorge, a site prominent for the great archaeological discoveries made by Louis and Mary Leakey. Their discoveries included some of the remains of early man. Proceed to Lake Manyara where you will have dine and spend the night.
Day 6 – Safari ends at Arusha
subsequent to an early breakfast, set off for a game drive in the morning in Lake Manyara National Park inhabited by hippos, flamingoes, monkeys, tree climbing lions, plus various species of birds among others. Return to Arusha in the mid morning to have lunch in one of the restaurant in Arusha.
