Explore the rich wildlife residing in the Serengeti or marvel at the abundant game of the yearly Great Migration, with thundering foot-steeps of zebra plus wildebeest. Sight at the spectacular beauty of the largest unbroken caldera in the world; the Ngorongoro Crater, as well as experience the large number of animals living on the floor of the Crater. Day 1

Arusha, Tanzania Arrival

On arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be received by a delegate from the ‘Spice’ team, who will transfer you to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Slumber in the chalet with bed plus breakfast basis.

 

Days 2, 3 & 4

Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast be transferred to Arusha Airport for a flight to Klein’s / Grumeti Airstrip. Starting at the airstrip, it is just a 10 minute drive to the wonderful camp where you will be accommodated. Enjoy 3 nights in a lavish tent at Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp. The stay comprises of 2 daily game drives, explore the continual Serengeti plains on morning plus late afternoon or evening game-drives in open 4WD safari vehicle.

The Serengeti National Park is a section of an enormous conservation area, comprised of the neighboring Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Masai Mara in Kenya. Without fences or artificial barriers, large populations of wildlife freely traverse this region, constantly resulting into a continuous natural cycle. The wonderful Serengeti is well-known for its enormous grasslands with no trees that permit splendid sightings of wildlife. The Park prides in more than 35 species of game and a profusion of bird life.

Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp is located in the remote areas of the Park, by River Grumeti, recognized for its annual wildebeest crossings as well as large Nile crocodiles. Placed into a narrow piece of riverine forest, the guests do pleasure in the actions of stunning multicolored colobus monkeys which are found in no other place within the Serengeti as well as enjoy night-time singing by numerous owls plus bush babies. Each year from June to July, the yearly Great Migration moves through Grumeti, with hundreds of thousands of numerous wildebeests, zebras plus other herbivores traversing River Grumeti, as they risk the eagerly waiting large crocodiles.

Days 5 & 6

Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy an early game drive and later breakfast prior to a flight all through to Manyara. On arrival, a vehicle will be awaiting to transfer you to Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the following two nights at the lodge in a very comfy suite right on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. This stay encompasses 1 daily game drive along the Crater floor.

Days 7, 8, 9 & 10

Mnemba Island

Enjoy hefty breakfast prior to being transferred to Manyara Airstrip to catch a flight to the Arusha Airport. From the Airport in Arusha, catch another flight to the beautiful Zanzibar Airport, and there you will be met by a delegate from the ‘Spice’ team, who will guide you across  Zanzibar island to  a boat ride up to Mnemba Island. Spend 4 nights at the stunning Mnemba Island Lodge in one of the luxury beach bandas. The stay comprises of: 2 scuba-dives each day, salt-water fly-fishing snorkeling, windsurfing and kayaking.

 

Day 11

Zanzibar — Depart

Enjoy a brief boat trip back to the Tanzania mainland is and later be transferred to Zanzibar Airport.
