Pemba Islands Tour Zanzibar

Pemba Islands.
Pemba Island is one of the 2 major islands that make up Zanzibar. The island is located in the Northern end of Zanzibar and it’s the less known of the two. It is until recently that visitors have started visiting the island.
With limited infrastructure, Pemba is still hardly visited, which makes it very appealing not only to get easy a round compared to Zanzibar. However, the park has some excellent locations for superb driving and spectacular snorkelling.

In almost every other way, the proximity of Pemba and Zanzibar be lies the striking contrasts between the islands. Whereas Zanzibar is generally flat, much of the interior is largely given to coconut plantations; while Pemba is far lush and undulating with thick forests, a number of hills and valleys as well as winding roads. Pemba Island was the largest supplier of cloves until recently.

When you move throughout the island, you will smell and feel the true spice trade in the area. The most unwinding and interesting place on Pemba Island is at its coast. The place is well known for its fish species along the channel, with striped marlin fish being recorded, as well as being home to most pristine reefs superb activities in this area is snorkelling and diving.
