Beach life in Zanzibar.
Its beach life, which attracts most people to Zanzibar. To miss the other exciting part on this exotic island, it’s a shame. Once you bare feet on this white sand, you will be tempted not to go elsewhere.

Knowing its white and soft sand, this is accompanied by plenty of palm trees and sunshine while on good days of fishing, the ocean lights up a blue sky view on the ocean with sailing dhows.
Most ocean waves are protected not to reach the beach, by a wide reef so waves probably become gentle at the coastline.
This makes shore waters good for children, wind surfers learners and the Kayakers (Soft weather) not good for thrill seekers who need to go off shore where the reefs drop to get started.

The tides dictate the daily beach life pattern, either sleep, eat, drink, fish or roll about.
Crafts can move out of the bays when the tide is in, since inner reef is covered. The reef is exposed when its out. Here boats cant get on to the beach or leave unless in circumstances when the tide is narrow (Most of the West coat).

The tide determines the gap in the reef (Kendwa diving), fishing as well as other deep sea activities or involve aschlepe along the coral reefs to form a boat (If you don’t have foot protection) it becomes safe.
A few large resort hotels get rid of this by cutting through the coral reef along concrete path ways, but becomes along walk in midway sunshine and they are on eye shore.

At low tide when reef is exposed, about a kilometre wide at the very shelf of shallow pools, large silty sand patches, sea weed and old ragged coral reefs. This makes swimming impossible despite finding the old sandy-bottomed lagoon to swallow in.
With a big hat in warm water, simply poddling around some reef shoes. Present are live sea urchins, small fry rock eels and examining star fish tiny rock eels.

Be aware of shallow small patches as you go for seaweed farms which the local women plant and harvest. They don’t like their fields tramped, like all cultivators.
