Dhow Palace Tanzania.
With its Arabian archways, Dhow Palace authentic Zanzibar antiques and ornate ornaments dating back to 1870. It was originally an Omani mansion in Stone Town. It was certainly the best hotel.

The rooms are luxurious, spacious and provide friendly services.
All what welcomes you is beautiful hand curved door, with studded brass knobs in the coolest reception area, with a water fountain of a central courtyard, and Makuti-thatch chairs and a good cool atmosphere is provided by the palm fronds during the heat of the day.

Inside this hotel, the atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, which is a welcome relief of the Stone Town streets of bustle and hustle.
A beautiful swimming pool has been built recently in then main courtyard so guests have a chance to stay away from the crowds and enjoy themselves.

Tembo and Dhow are places owned by the same family of a group of Muslim code of not selling alcohol. Only few hotels operating by these strict laws. Even at loss of income, its not big deal and we still respect their decisions.
Its not a problem to our guests since there are a number of clubs, pubs and cafes close to the hotel and for those interested in serious wining and dining, there are plenty of restaurants in Stone Town.

Accommodation.
Tastefully, 17 bed rooms furnished with Zanzibar Persian carpets and antiques. With headboards. Some have traditional four-poster beds. Others have balconies over looking creepers and palms in this beautiful country yard, and brass beds in the room. Facilities offered are air conditioner, hair dryer, mini bar, telephone and television.

With blue-tiled sunken stone baths, these ensuite bathrooms are more interesting and not forgetting the hand held showers.
The hotel is situated in Shangai district of Stone Town down a side alley of Kenyatta Road. Its 10-minutes walk if you’re arriving by boat and 10minites drive by airport.
